Andrew White, Rector
Father Andrew was born in Portland (near Mount Tabor) and grew up outside of Oregon City. He met his spouse, Daria, when he did ministry with Protestant churches in Bulgaria, shortly after the fall of Communism. Daria holds a Ph.D. in counseling supervision and teaches graduate-level courses in counseling. Andrew and Daria have two college-aged children: Yulia and Chris.
After twenty years of working as an English professor, Andrew transitioned to ordained ministry in the Anglican Church of North America. Before coming to All Souls, he was a curate (pastoral resident) at Church of the Lamb in the Shenandoah Valley of Virginia.
In his free time Andrew enjoys spending time with family and friends, reading theology and literature, listening to music (especially on vinyl), and taking day trips with Daria to explore the beauty of God’s creation.

Rosemary Rettig, Children's Ministry
Children's Religious Education became a mid-life vocational focus for Rosemary when she began training as a Catechist of the Good Shepherd at Franciscan Montessori Earth School here in Portland. Following that she pursued a Montessori Certificate for Primary Education. Before this Rosemary had attended San Francisco College for Women (now part of University of San Francisco), where she earned an BFA with an emphasis in Theater. A highlight of these studies was working under Tomie de Paola, soon to be a book illustrator, who engaged his students with classes in the liturgical arts.
In the following decades, in whatever parish she worshiped, Rosemary has found opportunities to sew, sing, dance, pray and animate her faith. In Catechesis of the Good Shepherd she found a wonderful platform for children and families to dramatize and explore their Christian faith. Rosemary is happy to be "aging in place," still in the company of young souls (Catholic and Anglican) in service of God and in the love of the Lord.
